Arthur C. The publisher should be ashamed

The publisher (and Amazon) should be ashamed of this title. While the content is fine -- I'm a Clarke fan from way, way back -- the presentation is abysmal.
This title is priced like a print book; in fact, far higher than a paperback. Given that, I expect print book quality typesetting. Instead, paragraphs break at random places, indentation and spacing varies, words are run together. In short, completely unprofessional.
The editor should be fired.

Rate the Story

I have these books in paperback, and I'd love to purchase the Kindle versions of the books. I agree with the one-star reviewer in every case. The legacy publishers typically sell the books at too high a price (can't be that expensive for the digital conversion), but that's a problem just about all the e-books with the statement "Price set by publisher" (must be Amazon's way of saying "Don't blame us for the price!"). I also won't buy any previously published books in a series until I know ALL volumes are available in digital form. Finally, I agree that there should be no issues with formatting, PARTICULARLY at the price listed.
However, I think reviews would be more helpful if the star ratings were used for just the content of the book, but the reviews added non-content problems as described by the one-star reviewer separately.

The early parts are very disjointed. It is only in the final part that things are brought together. This makes it challenging to keep up with the identities of the characters and their relationships. I would hope future volumes in the series would have a bit more continuity.
